Replacement Batteries for Powersports Vehicles

Replacement Batteries for Powersports Vehicles

Powersports vehicles are great for hitting the open road or open water for pleasure or even as a primary form of transportation. Jumping on your motorbike or ATV with a group of friends is a popular activity around the country. These vehicles are incredibly reliant on battery power to run and as such it is essential to maintain and replace the battery as needed to ensure that the vehicle can start and run reliably.

At BatteryClerk, we carry Powersports batteries for Motorcycles, ATV, UTV’s, Snowmobiles and Personal Watercraft like Jet Skis and Wave Runners. You can browse more than 100 brands on our website to find your match.

Powersports vehicles often get hard use and experience extreme conditions, and a working battery is often critical. Finding replacements or backups can be difficult and compatibility can be an issue.

AJC Batteries are well-suited for rough conditions as they are all AGM, which means they are factory activated, maintenance free, require minimal setup and provide a few advantages for Powersports with better performance in high heat, high vibration settings or unusual orientations.

Powersport batteries tend to last 2-5 years and are generally easy to replace, but make sure to consult your vehicle’s manufacturing instructions. Often batteries will be located under the seating area, so you may need to lift the seat or slide a panel to access.

  • Make sure the ignition switch is in the off position.
  • Remove the safety straps and pull to access the cables
  • Remove the positive side first and then the negative
  • Slide the battery out

While the battery is out, it’s a good time to check the connections and give them a scrape with a wire brush. Also take this opportunity to clean the housing which can get a little built up at times.

To replace:

  1. Slide the new battery into place
  2. Attach the terminals on the positive side first then the negative.
  3. Secure the safety straps or belts
  4. Replace the seat or panel
  5. Start it up.

With fast one to two day delivery to most of the USA, BatteryClerk provides the perfect setup for getting your powersports vehicle up and running quickly.
